As soon as a medical document is formed in the medical history - be it a doctor's conclusion, the results of laboratory or instrumental studies - the patient has access to them simultaneously with the doctor online. He can look at research, consult with doctors from other clinics, send them to relatives, that is, be more informed about the treatment process. The doctor is always there, so the patient will be able to ask him questions at any time. This is another step towards the openness of Moscow medicine, on the path of patient centrism, - quotes the press service of the capital's complex of social development of the Deputy Mayor of Moscow [Rakova Anastasia Vladimirovna 'Anastasia Rakova]].

In total, since January 2020, residents of the capital have turned to their EMRS of more than 55 million times. The popularity of the mobile version of the medical card is also growing, in 2021 it began to be used more often: if in 2020 only every fifth resident of the capital who opened access to it used a medical card on the phone, then in April 2022 - almost every second, - said the deputy mayor.

The introduction of the Electronic Medical Card service at EMIAS began at the end of 2015. However, its creation and implementation was preceded by global work on the formation of a unified digital environment in the field of healthcare: from large-scale technical and infrastructure re-equipment of medical institutions in Moscow, the development of a number of digital services and training of doctors in the capital to work with them, to reforming the industry as a whole. And already for April 2022, the electronic medical record underlies a single digital healthcare platform, ensuring continuity and continuity of all stages of treatment. Wherever you go - to a hospital or a polyclinic link, no matter what appointments and directions are made by a doctor - they are all reflected in the electronic card. In addition, all residents of the capital have access to their medical records, where they can not only view medical documents, but also supplement their medical history, enter their health into it using gadgets and much more. All this became possible only thanks to a number of complex technical solutions that allow you to store a large set of medical data in the system in a structured form, "said Vladimir Makarov, Deputy Head of the Moscow City Information Technology Department .
