Association of clusters and technology parks

10 technoparks will become founders of Association: Kuzbass, Penza, Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Himgrad (Kazan), Moscow and Sarov. The Mordovian, Kaluga, Tyumen technoparks and the Kazan IT park will join Association as members.
Revenue from activity of the resident companies of technoparks from 2008 to 2010 exceeded 22 billion rubles. The volume of private investments was in technoparks was about 4 billion rubles. At the end of 2010 in technoparks there were 291 resident companies with a total number of 6538 jobs. The planned financing of the program till 2014 will make 6.089 billion rubles, at the same time the amount of financing can be increased. Within expected additional financing the program can include new technoparks in regions with high scientific, industrial and personnel potential.
It is planned that the preferential rate of insurance premiums in the amount of 14% will be extended to residents of technoparks. The relevant proposals are sent to the Government of the Russian Federation.
