2023: Opening of the centre

Aeromax Aviation Training Center (ATC) has opened in Moscow. This is one of the few organizations in Russia where you can get a full-fledged working specialty related to the control of unmanned aircraft, having only a high school certificate. The AUC license gives the right to educational activities in three areas at once: vocational training, additional vocational education, as well as additional education for children and adults. Aeromax announced this on March 17, 2023.

The educational program of professional training is based on the professional standard approved by the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation for specialists in the operation of unmanned aircraft systems (ALS) with a maximum take-off weight of no more than 30 kg. The theoretical module includes the basics of air navigation, aerodynamics, meteorology, air law, organization of flight work and ensuring flight safety. It will be possible to work out the skills of aircraft control on training simulators, the work of which is based on Aeromax software products. Only after that, students will be allowed to control real equipment.

Flight practice will be held at training airfields using civilian unmanned aircraft (BVS) of the aircraft and copter types, which are produced in the Aeromax Group of Companies. At this stage, the students themselves will carry out flights, learn the skills of ground training and maintenance of ships, get acquainted with target load management, information transmission and processing systems. The total duration of training will be about a month.

People who already have a profession can get additional professional education - take advanced training courses. Their duration depends on the level of initial training of the listener and the type of unmanned aircraft.

The AUTs have created conditions for training using distance learning technologies, and the existing material and technical base allows you to immerse the listener as deeply as possible in future professional activities, to give him not only theoretical, but also good practical training.

The opening of its own aviation training center is the final chord in the work of creating a full-cycle company. Now we can independently train employees for our enterprises that are engaged in the production of civilian unmanned vehicles and the provision of complex services using ALS, - said Oleg Serdyuk, director of ANO DPO AUTS Aeromax. - At the first stage, we will train BVS operators, but then we plan to cover other working specialties that are in demand on the market. We are talking about directions related to the unmanned industry, such as the transportation of goods by air, programming. This, in our opinion, will positively affect the provision of the industry with qualified personnel.

The training center is actively working on the creation of educational programs of technical and career guidance orientation - additional general education programs in the field of IT, programming, aircraft modeling.

External industry experts, as well as Aeromax specialists from among process engineers, designers, aviation technicians, developers of radioelectronic equipment, external pilots and BVS operators, who will undergo the necessary training at the AUTs before starting classes, will be involved in the educational process as teachers.
