2025: Medsi bought the Elizavetinskaya clinic

On December 17, 2025, a deal took place to acquire JSC "Group of Companies" Medsi"Novaya LLC," medicine which owns the unprofitable clinic "Elizavetinskaya" in. The Krasnodar acquisition was confirmed by the director of the department for the development of strategic projects of commercial activities "Medsi" Alexander Gordeev, without disclosing financial details.

According to Kommersant, the acquired medical center began work in 2022. It will organize a radiation diagnostics department, including MRI and CT, and a dental department. According to Alexander Gordeev, the building will also house 42 rooms for outpatient admission of patients. In addition, the clinic has a day hospital for eight beds with a small operating room and a 24-hour hospital for 42 beds, which provides two operating units.

For the federal network, this is the first presence in the Krasnodar Territory. The general director of the consulting company EqivaDaria Shubina estimated this market in 2024 at more than 100 billion rubles, the forecast for 2025 is about 118 billion rubles.

According to Shubina, when entering the market, Medsi will face competition from established local networks such as Yekaterininskaya and CL Doctor. Director of Communications of the Fomin Clinic network Alexander Milykh noted the structural complexity and capacity of the regional market. According to him, residents of the region are used to choosing paid services, expecting high service and speed.

Experts see the purchase of an existing clinic as a logical strategy. Daria Shubina explained that this allows you to get a ready-made license and a team of doctors, which in conditions of a shortage of personnel may be more important than an immediate patient base. According to Shubina, an important factor is also the presence of a potentially powerful infrastructure in the asset.^[1]
