2025: Medsi bought Rusmed in Nizhny Novgorod for ₽450 million

The Medsi Group of Companies acquired the Rusmed multidisciplinary clinical and diagnostic center in Nizhny Novgorod, investing more than ₽450 million in the project. The deal became part of a strategy to expand the presence of Russia's largest federal network of private clinics in the regions. The company announced this on May 22, 2025.

According to the press service of Medsi, the acquired center is located at the Oksky Congress, house 4, and will take an important place in providing high-quality medical care for residents of the city and region. The total area of ​ ​ the medical complex is 3200 square meters.

The capacity of the clinic will allow accepting about 800 patients per day and 300 thousand per year. The medical center provides a wide range of services for children and adults, including a polyclinic unit, a 24-hour surgical hospital, a dentistry center and a diagnostic center.

The clinic presents more than 20 areas of medical care, the staff of specialists includes more than 100 doctors. The team includes physicians of the highest category, candidates of medical sciences and professors with more than 25 years of experience.

The President of the Medsi Group of Companies Andrei Sokolov noted that the acquisition expands the company's presence in Russia and allows offering residents of Nizhny Novgorod access to high-quality medical care at the level of world standards. He stressed that the unique competencies of the team and modern technologies will help improve the quality of medical care in the region.

The center is equipped with modern medical equipment of the world's leading manufacturers. The clinic launched the only in the region cardio-CT with artificial intelligence for 160 sections Toshiba Aquilion Prime, expert 48-channel MRI 1.5 Tl Siemens Avanto Fit and other equipment unique to the Volga Federal District.^[1]
