2013-2022

From 2015 to September 2022, Andrei Sokolov worked as the financial director of the Pyaterochka network, part of the X5 Group. He also worked in senior positions at TNK-BP, which was bought by Rosneft in 2013.

2023: Appointment as President of Medsi

In mid-December 2023, Medsi announced the appointment of Andrei Sokolov as the new president of the group. He replaced Elena Brusilova, who led the company for 9 years.

AFK Sistema President Tagir Sitdekov noted Brusilova's contribution to the company's medical asset: over nine years, the network of clinics has increased more than five times, and revenue has increased almost fourfold. A number of large-scale investment projects were implemented. As part of the regional expansion, the GC carried out several landmark transactions and became the unconditional leaders of private health care in the country. On the initiative of Elena Brusilova, the Medsi Medical Academy was created to improve the qualifications of doctors and the first private medical college was opened to train the profession of a doctor from school. The company added that despite leaving the post, Brusilov will remain on the board of directors of the group.

As for Andrei Sokolov, as president, he will focus on the further development of the network of clinics in Russia and the new markets of the CIS countries, the press service of the group said.^[1]
