MyGig is a Russian platform for finding one-time or regular part-time jobs. The service, according to its developers, allows companies to quickly find temporary performers (employees of the trading floor, couriers, loaders, kitchen workers, sellers, pickers, etc.) during busy hours or high seasons. In turn, temporary performers can perform part-time jobs with a flexible schedule, near the house and have official earnings. Only self-employed citizens can perform applications on the platform.

By January 2022, 170 thousand performers were registered on the MyGig platform, and its clients are large chain companies in the consumer sector, restaurants, delivery services, for example, ABC of Taste, Magnit, X5, Lenta, Hoff, DoDo Pizza, Scooter and others.

History

2022: Attraction of 120 million rubles

On January 10, 2022, it became known about investing 120 million rubles in MyGig. Sistema SmartTech, a venture capital fund of AFK Sistema, invested the most (50 million rubles) in this round of financing. Altus Capital and shareholders of Brayne's family office also took part in the transaction. The service for finding part-time jobs intends to spend the funds raised on the development of the platform and geographical expansion.

According to Sistema SmartTech forecasts, the volume of the Russian technology market for hiring employees over five years will amount to more than 100 billion rubles. Ksenia Shoigu, managing partner of the Sistema SmartTech fund, says that in the world and the Russian Federation, in particular, there is an acute shortage of line personnel, which is especially pronounced in the segments of the hotel and restaurant business and work with consumer goods.
