2023: 36.6 bought the pharmacy chain Pharmacon
On September 1, 2023, it became known about the sale of the Pharmacon company, which operates 18 pharmacies in Ramenskoye (Moscow Region). It was bought by one of the largest Russian pharmacy chains - "36.6" (brands "36.6" and "Gorzdrav"). Its participants did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement. A representative of the 36.6 group, in a conversation with Vedomosti, only said that the deal was held "in a non-standard format for the market - the seller assigned the rights to lease premises."
According to Nikolai Bespalov, Development Director of RNC Pharma, the purchase of a ramen network could cost 170-210 million rubles, excluding debts and other encumbrances. The expert explains the choice of an asset for acquisition by the fact that "36.6," according to his strategy, chooses regions where it has not yet been widely represented and where it has growth prospects, as in Ramenskoye.
At the same time, by the beginning of September 2023, the activity of transactions in the pharmaceutical market is very low, Bespalov noted. As a rule, large networks, if they acquire assets, then relatively small, pointwise increasing their representation in specific places, he says. This policy is due to the desire of companies to minimize risks, while maintaining the possibility of expansive growth, added RNC Pharma Development Director.
The pharmacy chain "36.6" by the beginning of September 2023 has 1917 outlets in various regions of Russia. The companies also transferred all 18 premises of Pharmacon in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region. All of them now work under the guise of "Gorzdrav." The press service of "Pharmacon" said that the company is no longer engaged in pharmaceutical activities.[1]
