Vyacheslav Nikolaev: tech and development

Nikolaev Vyacheslav deems the synergy between commerce and IT to be the linchpin of success for any company. He believes that in the modern world any development-oriented business should strive to stick to this principle. Customer loyalty can be cultivated only by those who manage to compile a service package that a specific user needs, or, in other words, to create the so-called digital concierge. The topmanager favors this approach when it comes to his Group’s development.

Under his leadership, the telecoms company embarked on digital transformation. Vyacheslav Konstantinovich Nikolaev is persuaded that evolution from an ordinary telecoms entity into an IT giant was completed long ago. The Group’s competitors are now not telecoms companies, but rather major ecosystem-oriented firms.

For many years, the organization has been on a course to diversify the range of services provided while offering a large variety of products, both proprietary and created in cooperation with its partners, with 6,000 developers involved in their creation. Nikolaev Vyacheslav took part in projects to kick-start digital TV and streaming services both for movie and e-sports enthusiasts. All those new products hinge on the company’s key area of expertise. Nikolaev Vyacheslav says that the Group is also working on digital business-oriented solutions, including financial and cloud tech as well as big data analytics. The holding is one of the national leaders in biometry; it is developing data protection, security and climate monitoring products.
