2024: Plant Restart

In September 2024, Rostec State Corporation resumed the activities of the bankrupt enterprise 261 Repair Plant JSC in Veliky Novgorod, which had been idle for a long time. The plant, specializing in the repair of various special equipment, including tankers, tankers and pumping units, was returned to full operation thanks to the efforts of RT-Capital and Remvooruzhenie JSC, which are part of the Rostec state corporation.

According to the press service of Rostec, the process of restoring the plant began in 2018, when the company became part of the state corporation. For several years, a set of anti-crisis measures was carried out aimed at financial recovery of the plant and restoration of its production facilities. This process has required considerable effort, as highly specialized enterprises need an individual approach to achieve stable operation. By the end of 2023, the plant managed to conclude a settlement agreement with creditors and settle debts for a period until 2030, which allowed to resume production processes and conclude new contracts.

The new development strategy of the enterprise is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the plant and expanding its capabilities. It is planned to enter the civilian product market, which will allow the plant to diversify its production capacity. Over the next two to three years, it is planned to fully use capacity and launch new directions in production.
