The main direction in the TANTK development strategy for the coming years and the future is the creation of a modern multidisciplinary aviation company operating in a closed cycle. Such a company, in the conditions of the existing wide cooperation, will be able to fully solve the entire range of tasks for the development, production, testing, support for the operation, repair and modernization of aviation equipment.
The history of TANTK OJSC named after G.M. Beriev begins its countdown on October 1, 1934. It was by this date, according to order No. 44/260 on the Main Directorate of the Aviation Industry, that it was necessary to organize in the city of Taganrog, at the Aviation Plant No. 31, the Central Design Bureau of Marine Aircraft Construction. By the same order, the young engineer Georgy Mikhailovich Beriev was appointed chief designer of the Central Design Bureau of the MS.

2024: Revenue growth by 8.21% to RUB 14.56 billion
As TAdviser found out in early October 2025, the aircraft manufacturer Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev (TANTK named after G. M. Beriev) received revenue of 14.56 billion rubles in 2024. This is 1.1 billion rubles, or 8.21%, more than the same indicator for 2023.
In the total structure of the company's revenue in 2024, more than 10.1 billion rubles were provided by aircraft manufacturing, 3.27 billion rubles - by service maintenance of equipment, 325 million rubles - by the manufacture of parts. The cost of products sold, works performed and services rendered amounted to 9.02 billion rubles, which is 590.68 million rubles, or 6.15%, less than in 2023, when the figure was 9.61 billion rubles. Revenue from other activities is indicated in the amount of 66.9 million rubles, which is 15.27 million rubles, or 29.57%, more than in 2023.
In 2024, profit from sales reached 3.11 billion rubles: this is 1.35 billion rubles (76.51%) more than a year earlier, when 1.76 billion rubles were received. Net profit on an annualized basis rose by 75.67% - from 692.68 million rubles to 1.22 billion rubles.
Accounts receivable as of December 31, 2024 amounted to 21.31 billion rubles, which is 97.6% more than the previous year, when it was 10.78 billion rubles. A significant increase in the indicator is associated with an increase in the debt of buyers and customers by 10.43 billion rubles (573.57%) and an increase in the debt of the budget for taxes and fees by 369.4 million rubles (148.37%). Total payables rose from 26.1 billion rubles in 2023 to 29.31 billion rubles in 2024, that is, by 12.3%. The total amount of assets at the end of 2024 amounted to 53.99 billion rubles.[1]

2025: Appointment of Sergei Shamshur as Director
In February 2025, the United Aircraft Corporation announced the appointment of Sergey Shamshur as the new managing director of the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after Beriev (part of the UAC of the Rostec state corporation). The new leader is tasked with focusing efforts on developing the production base of the enterprise, preserving the unique design and production competencies of the manufacturer of amphibious aircraft and special aviation complexes, and developing personnel potential.
