2024: Fly Drone buys PilotHUB marketplace
Fly Drone announced on May 31, 2024, the acquisition of the PilotHUB marketplace, which specializes in providing aerial photography and search services. This merger will be the first in Russia case of combining platforms for drone owners and their customers, which will open up new opportunities for both sides.
According to Fly Drone CEO Nikita Danilov, PilotHUB, founded by Mark Turovetsky in 2016, became the first specialized platform in Russia and the CIS to order aerial photography services. During its operation, PilotHUB has become a multifunctional resource with more than 6,500 pilots and processing a significant number of orders every month.
He noted that as part of the agreement, Fly Drone will integrate PilotHUB resources into its ecosystem, which will simplify processes for pilots and make aerial photography services more accessible. Mark Turovetsky, founder of PilotHUB, said that the transition of such a resource important enough for the market to the Fly Drone ecosystem will simplify many processes for pilots and make flights and aerial photography more transparent and convenient.
Turovetsky stressed that Fly Drone, founded in 2021 by Nikita Danilov and Alexander Kaniovsky, is a resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Center and a developer of a digital services platform for unmanned aircraft. The Flydrone platform allows individuals and legal entities to draw up all the necessary documents for flights, conclude digital contracts and find performers for various services provided using drones.
With the acquisition of PilotHUB, Fly Drone will own the www.pilothub.ru website, a set of graphic and information materials, as well as programs and databases that ensure their availability on the Internet. On the PilotHUB website, users can place orders for photo and video filming from drones, search for performers by region and video quality, and choose special services.[1]
