Created in 1961, OJSC PO Elektropribor is one of the leading enterprises in Russia for the manufacture and supply of special-purpose telecommunications and communications equipment that provide reliable cryptographic protection of confidential speech, documentary, graphic information and are used on stationary and mobile (on a wheeled and tracked base, on helicopters, aircraft, spacecraft, on surface and underwater sea-based facilities) control points for various purposes.

By industry subordination, the enterprise is part of the Federal Agency for Industry and directly to the Office of the Radio-Electronic Industry and Control Systems (UREPiSU).

Services

• Manufacturing of printed circuit boards. The company manufactures double-sided printed circuit boards (DPP) by a combined positive method and multilayer printed circuit boards (MPP) by a method of metallization of through holes.
• Automatic installation of printed circuit boards. Automatic line for installation of surface mounting components with capacity up to 50,000 components per hour per printed circuit board up to 500x400 mm.
• Manufacturing of process tooling. Tooling offers manufacturing services.
• Production of custom parts. The mechanical assembly industry offers services for the manufacture of parts.
• Electroplating. In the galvanic workshop, coatings are applied to parts made of steel, copper and its alloys, aluminum and its alloys - more than 20 types of coatings in total. Coating processes are carried out both on automatic galvanic lines and in stationary lines.
• Production of filtering elements. Offers manufacturing services: jamming single filters; filter units made in different design (plates, casings, cable sleeves, etc.); interference-canceling connectors based on various types of connectors: RRS, SNT, ONT, RNDT, RGS, RH, etc.
• Performance of tests. The testing laboratory offers mechanical and climatic testing services.
• Provision of services for verification and repair of measuring instruments.

The enterprise serially manufactures and supplies:

• complexes of technical means of cryptographic protection, improving the reliability, transmission/reception and distribution of data;
• cryptographic protection equipment for voice, documentary (from PC) and facsimile information;
• switching equipment;
• signal conversion devices for transmitting digital information;
• modems and multiplexers for transmitting information over tone frequency channels and the main digital channel.

2020

Opening of the building of assembly and installation production

On July 13, 2020, an assembly and assembly building was opened at the Elektropribor site, which is part of the Avtomatika concern of Rostec State Corporation. The reconstruction of the corps has been carried out since 2016 within the framework of the federal target program "Development of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation for 2011-2020." According to the governor of the Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev, the volume of investments amounted to over 300 million rubles. The result of the project was an increase in the capacity of serial production of products for the needs of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.

The manufacture of modern equipment required Elektropribor to carry out a technical re-equipment of the enterprise. The opening took place four months ahead of schedule. The important tasks of the reconstruction were to increase the production capacity of hardware communications, improve technological safety and energy efficiency of production, ensure the uninterrupted functioning of all production processes, as well as create comfortable and safe working conditions for employees of the enterprise. The area of ​ ​ the updated building was 5.5 thousand square meters. The workshop is equipped with a ventilation and air conditioning system.

Completion of reconstruction of assembly and installation production

During the implementation of the project "Reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the production of special products JSC PO Elektropribor, which is part of the Avtomatika Concern of Rostec State Corporation, reconstructed one of the buildings of the enterprise in order to increase the production capacity of hardware communications. The reconstruction was carried out within the framework of the federal target program "Development of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation for 2011-2020." The Concern announced this on June 17, 2020.

The reconstruction of the building has been carried out since 2016 and was completed in June 2020. The result of the project was an increase in the capacity of serial production of products for the needs of the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.

As of June 2020, together with the State Housing and Construction Inspectorate of the Penza Region, JSC PO Elektropribor is taking measures to commission and register the updated building. The commissioning of the hull is planned in the first half of July 2020.

Awards

Employees of "Electropribor" were awarded numerous state awards. Around 1,500 people have been honoured by the end of 2021.

 In 2012 , the staff of "Electrical Appliance" was awarded the Gratitude of the President of Russia. For many years of merit in the formation and implementation of the social and economic policy of the region, the enterprise was entered into the Gallery of Honor and Glory of the Penza Region.

In 2021, Elektropribor received an award from the Ministry of Defense "For achievements in the creation of weapons, military and special equipment as part of the fulfillment of the state defense order."
