Established in 1961, Elektropribor OJSC is one of the leading enterprises in Russia for the manufacture and supply of special-purpose telecommunications and communications equipment, which provide reliable cryptographic protection of confidential voice, documentary, graphic information and are used on stationary and mobile (on wheeled and tracked bases, on helicopters, aircraft, spacecraft, on surface and sea-based underwater objects) control points for various purposes.

By branch subordination, the company is part of the Federal Agency for Industry and directly to the Department of Electronic Industry and Control Systems (UREPiSU).

Services

• Production of printed circuit boards. The company produces double-sided printed circuit boards (DFS) using a combined positive method and multi-layered printed circuit boards (PWP) using the method of metallization of through holes.
• Automatic installation of printed circuit boards. Automatic line for installation of surface mounting components with capacity of up to 50,000 components per hour per printed circuit board up to 500x400 mm.
• Manufacturing of process tooling. Tool manufacturing offers services for the manufacture of tooling.
• Fabrication of parts to order. Mechanical assembly production offers part manufacturing services.
• Galvanic coating. In the galvanic workshop, coatings are applied to parts made of steel, copper and its alloys, aluminum and its alloys - more than 20 types of coatings in total. Coating processes are carried out both on automatic galvanic lines and in stationary lines.
• Fabrication of filter elements. Offers manufacturing services: noise cancelling single filters; filter units made in various design versions (plates, casings, cable couplings, etc.); noise cancelling connectors based on different types of connectors: RNC, SNTs, ONTs, RNDT, CSG, CW, etc.
• Conduct tests. The testing laboratory offers mechanical and climatic testing services.
• Provision of services for verification and repair of measuring instruments.

The enterprise serially manufactures and supplies:

• cryptographic protection, reliability improvement, data transmission/reception and distribution systems;
• cryptographic protection equipment for voice, documentary (from PC) and facsimile information;
• switching equipment;
• signal conversion devices for transmitting digital information;
• modems and multiplexers for transmitting information over tone frequency channels and the main digital channel.

2020

Opening of Assembly and Installation Building

On July 13, 2020, the building of assembly and installation production was opened at the Elektropribor site, part of the Automatics concern of Rostec State Corporation. The reconstruction of the building has been carried out since 2016 as part of the federal target program "Development of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation for 2011-2020 years." According to the governor Penza Belozertsev's oblastiivana, the volume of investment made over 300 million rubles. The result of the project was an increase in the capacity of mass production of products for the needs of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.

The manufacture of modern equipment required Electrical Appliance to carry out technical re-equipment of the enterprise. The opening took place four months ahead of schedule. The important tasks of the reconstruction were to increase the production capacity of hardware communications, improve technological safety and energy efficiency of production, ensure the uninterrupted functioning of all production processes, as well as create comfortable and safe working conditions for employees of the enterprise. The area of ​ ​ the updated building was 5.5 thousand square meters. The workshop is equipped with ventilation and air conditioning.

Completion of reconstruction of assembly and installation works

During the implementation of the project "Reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the production of special products, JSC Elektropribor, which is part of the Automatics Concern of Rostec State Corporation, reconstructed one of the building of the enterprise in order to increase the production capacity of hardware communications. The reconstruction was carried out as part of the federal target program "Development of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation for 2011-2020 years." The Concern announced this on June 17, 2020.

The reconstruction of the building has been carried out since 2016 and was completed in June 2020. The result of the project was an increase in the capacity of mass production of products for the needs of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.

As of June 2020, together with the State Housing Construction Inspection of the Penza Region, JSC Elektropribor PO is conducting measures to commission and register the updated building. The commissioning of the building is planned in the first half of July 2020.

Employees of "Electric Device" are awarded numerous state awards. By the end of 2021, about 1,500 people were awarded signs of honor.

  In 2012, the Gratitude of the President of Russia was announced to the Electropribor team. For many years of merit in the formation and implementation of the social and economic policy of the region, the company is listed in the Gallery of Honor and Glory of the Penza Region.

In 2021, Elektropribor received an award from the Ministry of Defense "For achievements in the field of creating weapons, military and special equipment as part of the implementation of the state defense order."
