Categories of the displayed threats include the harmful objects found both during the direct address to them, and during scanning in a request and also operation mail and a web antivirus, the revealed vulnerabilities of programs and the detected network attacks.

In the modern world of cyberthreats on distribution of the new malware or spam read minutes leave. Instantly global cloud infrastructure of Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) helps to obtain information on new suspicious files and other threats practically at once after their emergence to products of Kaspersky Lab. Internal KSN mechanisms generalize data from thousands of protected devices which users agreed to share automatically with service information on suspicious behavior of programs on the computers. Comparing behavior of the file on different computers, checking it in the database of hundreds of thousands of legitimate applications and using heuristic algorithms, a system renders a preliminary verdict about whether an object is harmful — in case of the affirmative answer access to it will be quickly blocked for all other users of Kaspersky Lab that will allow to avoid epidemic of infections. Thus, Kaspersky Security Network has the last minute information about security incidents, and it is applied on the world map in real time in order that any could be convinced of a wide variety and high speed of distribution of different threats.

Users can rotate the globe and change scale to gain an impression about a local situation in any part of the world. Different flowers of points on the globe designate different types of the threats revealed in real time. The user can display the description of each threat and also if desired turn off display of the types of threats which are not interesting him. In addition to standard buttons for users of social networks on the card there are also three toggle-switches: for switching of subjects of a design, interface languages and display modes (in the form of the flat card or the globe). Near at hand there is also a link for check of the computer to availability of the malicious software.
