On January 29, 2020 Kaspersky Lab announced updating of a key solution component of Kaspersky Security for Internet gateways — Kaspersky Web Traffic Security.

Now the solution includes both the proxy server, and components of protection of web traffic. The solution is delivered in the form of the image of the virtual machine ready to deployment in corporate IT infrastructure. Other important updating is integration into the platform for counteraction to the target attacks of Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack at the level of a sandbox.

In 2019 solutions of Kaspersky Lab reflected more than 975 million attacks which were carried out from Internet resources. Such attacks are performed using, for example, advertizing software, programs racketeers and difficult threats.

The solution Kaspersky Web Traffic Security blocks the entering threats at the level of the gateway, without allowing them to reach jobs and by that reducing risks of date leak and infection of corporate network.

Thanks to function of control of use of web resources and content filtering employees at work will not be distracted by third-party resources. The base of the addresses contains more than 150 million records broken into more than 70 categories. 2018: Release

On October 18, 2018 the company "Kaspersky Lab" announced release applications of Kaspersky Web Traffic Security. According to the company, it became a product component Kaspersky Security for internet-gateways. The solution is designed to protect the companies from all types of cyber attacks, to increase labor productivity due to access control to external resources and to reduce overheads on IT- support.

The solution Kaspersky Web Traffic Security reduces risk of emergence of cyberincidents: it processes the web traffic passing through the proxy server, blocking everything that is potentially dangerous in terms of corporate policy.

The anti-virus engine – multi-layer system of protection based on machine learning has the appendix of Kaspersky Lab. Also Kaspersky Web Traffic Security uses specialized heuristic algorithms for blocking of harmful and phishing sites. And function of web control allows to limit access for employees to certain categories of online resources to reduce risks and to ensure smooth operation.
