2021: CM-36dG и CM-36dGV, CM-36d

On February 15, 2021, Konica Minolta announced the launch of sales in the world of a series of desktop spectrophotometers. The ruler includes two models CM-36dG and CM-36dGV that allow you to measure color and gloss. The company also plans to supplement the series with the CM-36d entry-level model for measuring color in reflected light.

CM-36dG и CM-36dGV, CM-36d

According to the company, the model is CM-36dG presented in horizontal design, and CM-36dGV - in vertical design, which is optimal for measuring the characteristics of fabric or sheet materials. Together with the CM-36d model, which will be launched in February 2021, the devices became the successors of the CM-3600A and CM-3610A desktop devices - they were widely used by suppliers of materials for automobile industries and IT equipment.

Models are focused on color control of objects and materials. They also allow quick and effective quality monitoring for suppliers of paints, plastic or fabrics by simultaneously measuring color and gloss: CM-36dG and CM-36dGV are two-in-one devices. Thanks to this, devices help to more accurately control color.

To improve measurement accuracy, models are equipped with WAA (Wavelength Analysis & Adjustment). It compensates for even minor deviations in the results due to changes in environmental conditions - for example, temperature or humidity. Together with regular maintenance and calibration, this feature will ensure stable operation and extend the life of the devices.

The CM-36dG and CM-36dGV are characterized by extremely small discrepancies in the measurement results. Their colorimetric inter-sample consistency is within 0.12, which is 20% higher than the values of previous models. So measurements remain accurate when using several devices, even if they are in different locations. And data obtained using other devices can be used without additional processing - this simplifies the process of changing models.

The CM-36d series has a number of additional features to increase performance. The built-in camera helps to study samples from the photometric sphere and accurately determine the location of the measurement objects. The status panel displays the status and parameters of the measurement, which reduces the probability of operator errors. And the button for measuring is located directly on the device.

The devices have four measurement areas that provide flexibility of application. At the same time, the measuring chamber is quite spacious and even large samples do not need to be cut.

This series of spectrophotometers helps digitalize production by accurately translating color and gloss information into electronic form. Now, during inspections, you can abandon samples for comparison that do not differ in stability, as well as subjective assessments of specialists responsible for quality management. In addition, the devices have become even more convenient to use, which increased their performance.
