LANIT: Engineering cloud

The division of high-performance computing of LANIT provided at the MAKS-2013 stand of a possibility of the Center of Remote Visualization (CRV). On the 55-inch screen in online the mode remote work in automated design engineering systems and reverse engineering was shown. TsUV – the hardware and software system using technologies of virtualization for creation of jobs of the specialists working with resource-intensive applications and 3D - graphics. For work with the data containing the state secret, the division of information security of LANIT implements system operation in two network segments with different levels of privacy.

"PLM Urals" - "Delkam-Urals" the systems of reverse engineering of the companies were provided to LANIT together with group ANSYS and ESI Group, start and work of these applications in TsUV is shown. Remote work with difficult and multicomponent assemblies of century was shown Siemens NX. Solving of tasks of aerodynamics and aero acoustics in the research software package Noizette was provided by the partner of LANIT - laboratory of computing aero acoustics of Institute of applied mathematics of M.W. Keldyscha RAHN. For work with so powerful complexes the normal office notebook and the tablet computer connected to TsUV on Wi-Fi was used.

Having supercomputer computing resources at the order, LANIT offered the enterprises of aircraft industry lease of computing powers for implementation of the current projects. Lease of resources will allow the enterprises to avoid significant investments, will remove questions of support and upgrade, will allow to consider easily costs for high-performance computing in relation to each project.

Products and solutions of LANIT formed the basis of the concept of the Engineering cloud, a common information space for design and product development, 3D - modeling, preparation and carrying out high-performance computing and engineering calculations. The concept attracted broad interest of heads, technical specialists, designers and developers of the participating companies of an air show.
