2018: The announcement of LG Gram 17 — the easiest 17-inch notebook in the world

On December 12, 2018 provided to LG Electronics as the company claims, the easiest notebook in the world with the 17-inch display. Innovation entered into the LG Gram family.

LG Gram 17 weighs 1.34 kg and works under control of the Intel processors Core of the eighth generation with the built-in graphic accelerator. Amount of RAM of DDR4 reaches 16 Gbytes, and the volume of the solid state drive is 256 Gbytes.

The portable computer is supplied with the rechargeable battery on 72 W which, according to developers, provides the device with independent operation during till 19.5 o'clock. Resolution capability of the display is equal   2560 x 1600 pixels.

Besides, USB connectors 3.1, HDMI, Thunderbolt 3 USB C (not only allows to transfer data and video, but also charges smartphones and other gadgets), microSD  and the advanced DTS Headphone X audio system which allows to imitate a 11.1-channel sound are provided in the notebook the fingerprint scanner with support of an authentication system of Windows Hello.

The product is certified according to the military MIL-STD-810G standard meaning protection against falling effects from height to 1.2 meters and also influences of temperature differences, blows, salt fog and ultraviolet.

Information on cost and terms of the beginning of sales at the time of the announcement of LG Gram 17  is not published. Most likely, it will be read at the January CES 2019 conference within which public demonstration of the notebook will take place.

LG Gram 2-in-1

On the same action demonstration of the new hybrid LG Gram 2-in-1 notebook equipped with the 13-inch screen up to 16 Gbytes of OZU, the solid state drive with a M.2 capacity of 512 Gbytes and the Intel processor Core of the eighth generation is expected. The device which can be transformed to the tablet and the classical notebook weighs 1.14 kg.[1]
