LUXdash

The LUXdash platform represents a set of program components for providing to the driver and passengers of the car of information and multimedia services, including playing of a broad spectrum of audio-video of content, Internet access, use of e-mail, functions of mobile office, diagnostics of the automobile systems, telephony, including VoIP, integration with social networks and many other things.

Shturman

The navigation software of Shturman will be integrated into the hardware-software LUXdash platform (is reported in November, 2010) developed and used by Luxoft for projects with the automobile companies from Europe and the USA, the platform will be applied in equipment of cars of the largest world brands.

Navigation function will be implemented based on the software of Shturman with cartographic base from Navteq company, the leading world supplier of digital cartographic information. The LUXdash platform is applied during creation of multifunction "head devices" of the car, the computerized meter panels (Virtual Instruments Cluster), the systems of multimedia to passengers of back seats (Rear Seats Entertainment) and Aftermarket PND integrated by an abbreviation of IVI (in-vehicle infotainment).

The version of a software platform of LUXdash based on Angstrom Linux/MeeGo executed according to the current recommendations of alliance GENIVI and equipped with a navigation subsystem of Shturman with cards of NAVTEQ was presented at the Telematics Munich 2010 exhibition (Munich, Germany, on November 10 - 11, 2010), the largest European industrial action in the field of automobile telematics.
