LanCloud: Cloud Backup

Cloud Backup is a cloud service from LanCloud company which allows to execute backup of physical and virtual servers and also different business applications and to save data in reliable DPC of TIER-III. Service is started at partnership with Veeam company and founded on Veeam Cloud Connect technology.

Many companies underestimate importance of data backup, hoping for failsafe RAIDs, corporate DWH and server clusters which help to provide high availability, but do not protect from such risks in any way as: accidental or malicious destruction of information by users, actions of viruses of encoders, damages of databases because of errors in applications, etc. But even those who make backup copies often store them at themselves in office together with other servers, risking to lose all information at the same time. For the purpose of providing clients with the reliable service of backup allowing to store backups outside office of the company, LanCloud put in May, 2018 on the market Cloud Backup service.

Cloud Backup supports reservation of virtual machines Hyper-V and VMware and also physical servers under management Windows and Linux. If necessary servers can be recovered from a cloud as in initial placement on the client's equipment, and are quickly recovered and started directly in LanCloud cloud. Cloud Backup allows to create complete and incremental backup copies with a possibility of storage of multiple recovery points. There is an opportunity as complete recovery of a status of the physical or virtual server, and recovery of separate files. The technology of granular recovery supports such applications as Microsoft Exchange SharePoint Active Directory, SQL Server and Oracle that allows to recover separate subjects of applications. For example, it is possible to recover separate mailboxes and letters of Exchange, files of SharePoint, certain users the Active Directory or the transaction logs SQL. The built-in end-to-end technology enciphering allows to be sure of confidentiality of all information copied in a cloud since all data are ciphered on the client even before transfer to a cloud.

The price is 1 rub/month for GB of the backup copies stored in a cloud that is one of the most advantageous offers in the market. So, for example, the monthly backup of a file server with an amount of 1 Terabyte will cost only 1520 rub/month including VAT, including the license Veeam Backup Agent for Windows.
