Cloud PBX-365 is service for connection of the Russian phone numbers from any telephone operators in a cloud of Microsoft.

The Cloud PBX-365 service allows to replace the traditional office IP PBXs placed with the customer. Service implements connection of any phone numbers from any city from any operator, helps to be integrated with the automatic telephone exchanges operating at the customer.

The functionality of traditional automatic telephone exchanges is maintained:

  • extension numbers,
  • switchings of calls,
  • auto attendant (IVR),
  • groups of a call,
  • call recording,
  • determination of numbers,
  • voice mail.

The customer has an opportunity to call click of "mouse" practically from any Microsoft Office applications, for example, just having clicked on contact in Outlook. It is possible to make and accept calls from any place and from any device, whether it be the notebook, the tablet or the smartphone. The main thing that there was an Internet access.

2018: Start of cloud automatic telephone exchange for Microsoft Teams

The LanCloud company announced on June 13, 2018 adding in Cloud PBX-365 service of support of connection of the Russian phone numbers in Microsoft Teams.

LanCloud started cloud automatic telephone exchange for Microsoft Teams

Since May, 2018 in Teams the functionality of cloud automatic telephone exchange with a connectivity clients of own phone numbers appeared. For this purpose it is necessary to purchase the certified SBC gateway (Session Border Controller), to connect to it phone numbers under the SIP protocol and to configure a joint with Office 365. Inconvenience of such option is that the customer is forced to spend for the SBC gateway and its setup, to place this gateway with itself at office or in leased DPC and also to provide its further maintenance. Alternative option is use of a ready cloud service of Cloud PBX-365, declared in LanCloud.

Cloud PBX-365 allows to connect the phone numbers in Office 365 and to use them in Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business Online services. Connection happens under the standard SIP protocol that allows to connect numbers from any Russian telephone operators or any other IP PBXs. It allows customers to save the existing phone numbers upon transition to Microsoft Teams, having provided seamless migration. Besides, the Cloud PBX-365 service allows customers to integrate the available IP PBXs with Microsoft Teams in uniform number capacity, having given an opportunity to all employees free of charge to call each other by short extension numbers.

Feature of Cloud PBX-365 is that for use of cloud automatic telephone exchange based on Teams the customer does not need to purchase any equipment, to be engaged in its setup and service. Setup and service of Cloud PBX-365 service is performed by specialists of LanCloud free of charge.

Telephony in Microsoft Teams is available in the tariff plans Office 365 E1, E3 and E5. Activation of telephony in tariff plans E1 and E3 requires acquisition of the license Phone System (Telephone system), the license is already included in tariff plan E5. Provides 1 month of the free test period for all clients of LanCloud.

2016: Start of "the Cloud IP PBX" for Office 365

On August 22, 2016 the LanCloud company announced start of Cloud IP PBX service for Office 365 with connection of the Russian phone numbers.

Motive for start of own service in the company consider lack of a connectivity of the Russian numbers to service of cloud telephony from Microsoft which the corporation started in 2016 within some subscriptions to Office 365.

The Russian customers used "Skype for Business Cloud Connector Edition" – several Skype for Business servers which the customer needed to deploy from himself at office, to connect to them voice gateways and to configure integration with a cloud of Microsoft. Such approach is rather expensive and inconvenient as it required existence of the physical server, expensive licenses for Windows Server Datacenter and de facto was not a full-fledged cloud service because of need to support local infrastructure[1].

LanCloud started a cloud service of Cloud PBX-365 which supports connection of the Russian phone numbers from any telecom operators directly in a cloud of Microsoft. Customers do not need to deploy from themselves at office servers, voice gateways and other. Access in is necessary for a full-fledged work of the IP telephony [The Internet|the Internet]].

The cost of service is from 100 rub a month for the user, irrespective of quantity and duration of calls. Connection, setup and service of service are free. For August 22, 2016 service is available to the customers using Office 365 plans of E1, E3 and E5, Skype for Business Online plan 2.
