2024: Mass Production Certification
In September 2024, it became known that a new manufacturer of computer monitors, Network-PC, began its activities in Russia, having received a certificate for the mass production of four models of monitors under the Lan brand. The company's production facilities are located in Moscow, on Vyborgskaya Street, which is noted in the documents confirming the start of serial production of products.
According to CNews, Network-PC was previously involved in the distribution of IT equipment, supplying equipment for the corporate sector, but had no experience in the production or assembly of electronic devices. At the end of August 2024, the company received an official certificate to begin mass production of monitors. However, representatives of the company have not yet specified the timing of the start of production and have not provided information on technological processes and the level of use of domestic components in production.
The company's production site, according to CNews, is located in a business center on Vyborgskaya Street. Experts familiar with the requirements for organizing the production of electronics note that full-fledged production of monitors in a business center can be difficult. This is due to the need for significant space and special conditions for the placement of equipment, including surface installation lines and other production facilities.
Nevertheless, Russian-made monitors can become in demand, especially if they manage to get into the Register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. To do this, products must meet certain requirements and score a minimum of 90 points in the evaluation system. The presence in the register is an important condition for concluding government contracts, which can significantly expand the sales market of the Network-PC company[1]
