2025: Product Announcement
At the end of December 2025, the Chinese company United Aircraft introduced the Lanying R6000 aircraft, the world's first tiltrotor aircraft weighing 6 tons. Aircraft with rotary propellers is capable of vertical take-off and landing.
Lanying R6000 has a payload of up to 2000 kg, a maximum cruising speed of 550 km/h and a flight range of about 4,000 km at altitudes of up to 7620 m. The device is able to smoothly switch between vertical take-off and landing mode and high-speed horizontal movement mode: at the same time, modules with screws turn 90 degrees.
According to United Aircraft, the aircraft can be adapted for a variety of tasks. This, in particular, the transportation of medical personnel or rescue teams, police patrols, disaster management, etc. The capacity of the cabin, depending on the configuration, ranges from 6 to 12 people. For example, the device can take on board 2-4 injured and 4 medical workers, as well as the necessary search and rescue and medical equipment.
Lanying R6000 can be operated in all conditions and in any area. Anti-icing and lightning protection are provided. The device is capable of continuous flight in moderate rain and flight for 1-2 hours in heavy rain. Takeoff and landing can be carried out on small sites such as parking lots and roofs of office buildings, which is important in emergency situations.
| Lanying R6000 is a six-ton tiltrotor that combines the capabilities of vertical take-off and landing of a helicopter with a high cruising speed of the aircraft. It sets a new standard for efficient long-haul transport. Thanks to its high speed, range and carrying capacity, it is capable of performing a variety of tasks in difficult areas of the terrain and in narrow urban spaces, the developer says.[1] |
