2020: ThinkSmart Hub for Hybrid Workstations and Collaboration

On September 28, 2020, Lenovo introduced the next generation of universal conference systems ThinkSmart Hub. The solution features four advanced speakers and microphones to ensure sound quality. The device is connected using a single cable, which allows you to efficiently use the workspace.

ThinkSmart Hub for Hybrid Workstations and Collaboration

According to the company, the next generation ThinkSmart Hub comes with an Intel Core i5 processor with vPro technology and is equipped with a rotating 10.1-inch full HD touch display and brighter LED indicators. ThinkSmart Hub with Intel's built-in platform vPro enables employees to meet securely at Microsoft Teams. ThinkSmart Hub is an easy-to-configure and easy-to-use conference solution.

According to a Lenovo survey, as of September 2020, 52% of employees worldwide expect them to work from home more often than before, and 63% believe that remote work is more productive. However, there are also difficulties - how to find a balance between work and personal life, as well as maintain contact with colleagues. Technologies solve this problem and make meetings as productive as possible, allowing employees to feel the support of colleagues and loved ones.

Lenovo believes that technology should meet the needs of the business and its employees, regardless of where they are. In the long term, either offices will become a meeting place for employees, customers and partners, or companies will begin to implement flexible hybrid work models. However, regardless of the scenario, interaction between people will remain a critical factor.

ThinkSmart Hub is an office collaboration solution that is suitable for events ranging from small meetings to major conferences. Customer feedback analysis allowed Lenovo engineers to develop a versatile solution that is 20% more compact than previous generations.

The ThinkSmart Hub is equipped with four integrated speakers and microphones for sound quality. A 360-degree touchscreen display provides easy access to Microsoft Teams control. The updated hub has a single I/O cable that optimizes power, Ethernet, USB, and display connectivity.

ThinkSmart Hub is protected by Lenovo ThinkShield security and has a three-year Lenovo Premier Support warranty.
