Adapting Litoria Desktop 2 to the new EP rules

Gazinformservice adapted Litoria Desktop 2 to the new EP rules. The developer announced this on October 11, 2024.

On September 1, 2024, changes to the requirements for the form of a qualified certificate of the electronic signature verification key (EP), approved by order of the FSB of Russia of February 2, 2024 N 50, entered into force.

Key change - Add information an electronic signature key (PrivateKeyUsagePeriod) to the certificate of validity. Now certificates issued after September 1, 2024 are considered qualified only if this field is available. In addition, the validity period of the electronic signature key is taken into account when determining the validity of a qualified electronic signature (63-FZ, Article 11, Part 2.1).

The requirements are especially important when using the so-called "long" certificates, the validity period of which exceeds the validity period of the electronic signature key, - said Sergey Kiryushkin, advisor to the general director - head of the certification center of Gazinformservice. - Without proof of the validity of the electronic signature key at the time of signing (trusted time stamp + OCSP response or CRL), an EP created using such a "long" certificate is not valid after the expiration of the electronic signature key. That is, in this case (if there is no evidence of the moment of signing and evidence of the validity of the certificate at that time in the electronic signature), the validity period of the electronic signature will be determined by the shorter validity period of the electronic signature key: the "long" certificate will turn into a "short" one. It is imperative that electronic signatories perform such checks.

The Litoria Desktop 2 universal electronic signature tool allows you to correctly perform operations with qualified certificates that comply with all the latest regulatory changes, and solve the entire range of electronic signature and encryption tasks.

Litoria Desktop 2 Red OS Compatibility 8

Gazinformservice offers organizations the Litoria Desktop 2 software package designed to solve the entire complex of electronic signature and encryption tasks, with a detailed audit of each user's actions, which simplifies the analysis of conflict situations and analysis of information security events. Gazinformservice announced this on August 21, 2024 goals.

The product has confirmed compatibility with the domestic operating system Red OS 8 from Red Soft. The joint implementation of the developments of Gazinformservice and Red Software will allow organizations to implement the most advanced functionality when working with electronic signature and encryption under the control of a certified domestic OS.

2023: Entry into the register of domestic software

The Litoria Desktop 2 software complex - developed by Gazinformservice - was registered in the register of domestic software on April 21, 2023 under number No. 17417 on the basis of an order of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. This was reported on May 12, 2023 by Gazinformservice.

Litoria Desktop 2 allows you to abandon paper workflow and switch to electronic legally significant and confidential interaction (corporate, inter-corporate, cross-border).

The main purpose of the Litoria Desktop 2 PC is to create, add, certify and verify an electronic signature (EP), as well as encrypt and decrypt files.

In addition, the product allows you to perform the following functions:

  • display storages certificates of the verification keys of the display device (certificates);
  • creating a request to issue and reissue the certificate;
  • installing the certificate on the device and from the device to the registry;
  • viewing the installed crypto providers and their parameters;
  • using a trusted third party (DTS) to verify the validity of the EP and/or verify certificates of electronic signature verification keys for compliance with the requirements imposed by the legislation of the Russian Federation for qualified certificates.

Litoria Desktop 2 meets world-class quality, reliability and safety standards.

For more than 5 years, the Litoria Desktop 2 software package has been presented for market domestic PKI solutions and has already established itself as a reliable product that allows you to abandon paper document management. The inclusion of the complex in the register domestic software is a significant step towards its promotion. This is especially important, because this product supports protocols of interaction with services of a trusted third party and, thus, can act as a client part in the procedures of legally significant verification of electronic signatures, including those based on foreign or international certificates, cryptographic algorithms that meet the requirements of the legislation of others. countries The use of Litoria Desktop 2 thus makes it possible to practically solve the task of facilitating procedures, the paperless trade importance of which was noted on April 21, 2023 at the meeting, Governments of the Russian Federation
noted Roman Pustarnakov, Deputy General Director - Director of the Customer Management Department of Gazinformservice.

In 2022, studies showed that Litoria Desktop 2 is suitable for working with information of classes KCl (execution 1) and KS2 (execution Z), which is confirmed by the conclusion of the FSB of Russia No. 149/3/2/3-581.

2019: Litoria Desktop 2

The Litoria Desktop 2 software package, developed by Gazinformservice specialists, is designed to create, add, certify and verify an electronic signature, as well as encrypt and decrypt files. It implements all the necessary set of functions for cryptographic protection of electronic legally significant document flow. The software package supports a range of cryptographic solutions and can be used to provide interaction with the service of a trusted third party.

The Litoria Desktop 2 PC, the only Russian-developed product, passes the entire set of 224 tests of the correct functioning of electronic signature verification mechanisms developed by the National Institute for Standards and Technologies of the United States, complies with the requirements of national legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of electronic signature (certificate of the FSB of Russia SF/124-3578 dated 20.12.2018, certificate of compatibility CryptoPro CSP - Blokhost-EDS, etc.).

2018: JaCarta compatibility

On October 25, 2018, Aladdin R.D., a Russian developer and provider of information security solutions, announced that, together with Gazinformservice, it had completed test tests for the compatibility of its products: USB keys and JaCarta smart cards and Litoria Desktop. Read more here.
