2018: Announcement of Logiq E10

On February 28, 2018 on the European congress of radiologists GE Healthcare provided a new ultrasonic system on the basis of the artificial intelligence (AI) used in 3D - video games and unmanned vehicles. The equipment under the name Logiq E10 provides the much bigger processing speed of visual data, than the previous ultrasonography offices of the company, the producer claims.

The AI technology is a part of the cSound Architecture platform which collects and reconstructs data similar to a system MPT or KT that allows to increase capacity by 48 times and by 10 times to increase the computing power of a system, according to the words of the representative of GE. Logiq E10 also eliminates need of search of focal zones as the image always is in focus during the research.

In the new device the Photo Assistant application from GE Healthcare which allows clinical physicians to send to attending physicians separate images and also technology remote control using which the user to manipulate settings of the device from the tablet or the smartphone is used. Besides the device is connected with the cloud storage of data through Tricefy Trice Imaging that provides such functions as sharing of images, remote viewing and also archiving and integration of electronic medical records.

On the congress GE Healthcare not only provided new devices, but also told about results of the research conducted by the private radiological company Radiomed with offices in West and Central Germany. The Radiomed and GE Healthcare joint project begun in 2016 was directed to use of digital technologies in MRT for reduction of time of a research.

Thanks to the analysis of these seven MRT-systems received during this time, Radiomed managed to increase workflow performance by 30%. At the same time capacity of a radiological office increased from 120 MRT-researches a week up to 170 in a week that allowed to reduce considerably waiting time of patients from 6-8 weeks to 1-2 weeks.[1]
