LogistiX on February 20, 2025 introduced an updated version of the LEAD WCS equipment management system for robotic warehouses.

This version has received a number of improvements aimed at improving the convenience of users and expanding the functionality of the system.

LEAD WCS (Warehouse Control System) is a solution from the Russian developer LogistiX, providing control of a wide range of automated warehouse equipment both foreign and domestic.

This version of LEAD WCS opens up even more opportunities for robotic warehouses for flexible and efficient operation:

The system now supports advanced cargo attributes, allowing you to attach to each cargo arbitrary data obtained from adjacent information systems through the integration subsystem or entered at automated workplaces.

The updated functionality of cargo routing management on automatic transporters makes it possible to quickly create and edit routes of any complexity based on a flexible system of rules.

The updated version supports the use of one system installation for working with several robotic warehouses at once, providing centralized management and reducing infrastructure costs.

Automated workstations (AWS) have been added, which allow to partially replace WMS in the absence of communication. This enables you to work not only with goods and their characteristics, but also with entities such as materials, batches, planned receipt and consumption documents, as well as manage cargo placement and disposal strategies.

2023: Announcement of the Russian LEAD WCS equipment management system for robotic warehouses

LogistiX introduced the domestic LEAD WCS equipment management system for robotic warehouses on June 13, 2023. The system will be an alternative to foreign counterparts, which are used to control the automated equipment of Knapp, Jungheinrich, SSI SCHÄFER, Kardex, Hänel, Siemens and other brands.

LEAD WCS (Warehouse Control System) is a Russian warehouse automated equipment control system using various protocols developed by the LogistiX group of companies.

The solution supports a wide range of AS&RS robotic storage equipment, cargo transportation and sorting systems from Russian and foreign manufacturers. These include elevator and carousel racks, stacker robots, AGV robots, sheet metal storage systems, conveyors, sorters and other equipment.

LEAD WCS, through a single interface, performs comprehensive control and coordination of the movement of goods and goods using automatic equipment. To implement the process in the warehouse, the WCS converts instructions from the WMS or ERP upper level control systems into a sequence of commands for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), which in turn receive signals from sensors and supply control signals to the actuators.
