Lorett (LoReTT, Local Real Time Tool) is the laboratory complex of satellite monitoring intended for acceptance, demodulation, decoding, registration and processing of the digital information transferred from the artificial Earth satellites which are on low earth orbits on radio channels of H-frequency range in the range of speeds of demodulation 0.2-100 Mbod (an option up to 350 Mbod).

2019: Inclusion in the List of the innovation, hi-tech products and technologies

In May, 2019 the educational laboratory complex of satellite monitoring of H-range of development of Lorett company is included in the List of the innovation, hi-tech products and technologies. The list is placed on information resources of iMoscow, Department of an entrepreneurship and the innovative development of the city of Moscow and State Budgetary Institution Agency of Innovations of Moscow. On June 3, 2019 announced this TAdviser in Lorett company.

The positive decision on inclusion in the List of products "An educational laboratory complex of satellite monitoring of H-range" is made by the Commission on determination of the innovation, hi-tech products and the technologies used in the industries of municipal economy of Moscow. Representatives of executive authorities of the city of Moscow are a part of the Commission.

2018

The high-detailed picture from the Stork-2D satellite is accepted

On July 6, 2018 the Lorett company announced that the high-detailed picture from the Russian Stork-2D satellite is accepted by a laboratory complex of space monitoring of Lorett. The device Stork-2D transferred the cities of Perth (Australia) given on the territory on June 15.

For the first time the image of Earth from space of such detail (the spatial resolution of 2 m) is got using the antenna which has no reference rotating device, traditional for such technologies, and instead the irradiator moves over not movably set antenna mirror. Such approach allows to simplify construction of the antenna, to make it more mobile, universal and cheaper in comparison with analogs, noted in the company. Earlier successful data reception of low resolution from the Terra and Aqua satellites was carried out.

Our first success which would be impossible without support of developers of the Stork-2D of JSC Payment Processing Centre Progress and Samara satellite of the university: On June 15 we accepted data from this device on our antenna complex which weighs 20 kg, has a mirror with a diameter of 2 m and can be set in any user-friendly place. It is not just a stage in development of our company - it is the beginning of implementation of absolutely unique educational program which only Russia can offer the world so far — Olga Gershenzon, the co-founder, the cofounder, the chairman of the board of directors of engineering company "Lorett" and the co-founder of SCANEX Group said.

The Lorett complex is development of the Russian engineering company "Lorett" and allows to keep automatic recording of data files on a disk of the computer and acceptance of images from satellites in a radius up to 200 km from an installation site. At the beginning of June, 2018 the Lorett complex demonstirovatsya for the first time to general public in the territory of the Innovation center "Skolkovo".

We were finally convinced that the offered technology is efficient, and even we see ways of its improvement and completions. Besides, literally the other day we received the positive report on the international search in the international application for an invention (PCT) submitted by us from the European patent office — all points of a formula are recognized patentable. Purpose of a complex

For July, 2018 the laboratory complex of satellite monitoring in a basic configuration is intended for acceptance and information processing transferred from the Terra and Aqua satellites (in a transmission mode of DB (Direct Broadcast)). It can be retrofitted for data reception from satellites: Suomi NPP, JPSS, FengYun-3A/B/C, EROS-B, Kanopus-V, RADARSAT-2, COSMO-SkyMed-1/…/4, TerraSAR-X and many other.

Lorett provides automatic recording of data files on a disk of the computer and acceptance of images from satellites in a radius up to 200 km from an installation site.

The complex can be implemented into educational and innovation projects in three directions:

  • complex designer for engineering education;
  • complex as basis of cross-disciplinary project laboratory; the basic instrument of ensuring access to data of ultrahigh spatial resolution in the mode of a real vremeniye;
  • complex as the sredoobrazuyushchy tool for development of services and/or mobile applications. Can function as filling of the adjacent centers of collective use or through domestic and international hackathons.

2017: Testing of a prototype of LoReTT

The engineering company "Lorett" held in 2017 testing of a prototype of a laboratory complex of satellite monitoring of Lorett, zapustiav in production a small batch of complexes and also submitted the international application for an invention.
