2025: System Launch

In December 2025, the airline Russia"" introduced a new software module for automated flight planning. The general director of the carrier, Jan Burg, announced the launch of a tool called the Intellectual Shadulation Module of Flights (MISHA).

According to representatives of the airline, MISHA automates the process of assigning specific aircraft to flights. The system algorithms take into account the technical features of each aircraft and the route network. This allows you to optimize the use of the fleet in normal mode and minimize the consequences of failures.

Rossiya Airlines has launched the MISHA system for automatic control of the fleet. Now 2500 flights for 10 days are planned in 5 minutes

Jan Burg highlighted the key effects of implementing the system. The first is to save the wage fund, and the released specialists are redistributed to other production tasks. The second involves eliminating planning errors, which avoids potential financial costs. The third effect is an accelerated restoration of the regular schedule in case of failures, which reduces the waiting time for passengers.

According to TASS, pilot testing of the module has been carried out since mid-July 2025. As a result, the process that was previously executed manually by the dispatcher is fully automated.

Processing the schedule, which includes about 2.5 thousand flights in the horizon of 3-10 days, takes an average of 5 minutes. The software monitors operational restrictions around the clock and makes adjustments to the schedule within 30-60 seconds if necessary, notifying the relevant services.

According to representatives of the Rossiya airline, for passengers, the operation of the module means an increase in the level of uninterrupted transportation. In the event of massive cancellations or delays, the schedule will be restored faster. According to the airline's forecasts, the waiting time for passengers in case of major failures may be reduced by 1.5-2 times.[1]
