2018: Start of the platform

On July 22, 2018 the Nuance Communications company announced start of a cloud platform of mPower Clinical Analytics. The analytical platform helps radiologists to develop strategies of increase in efficiency according to industry to standards and the advanced techniques. The cloud platform provides more quick and easy access to relevant data and provides an expanded packet of functions, including new opportunities of quantitative analysis.

The mPower platform should facilitate work of the radiologists passing into an era of value-oriented health care, allowing them quickly and to precisely take, generalize, analyze and transfer data of researches. Using algorithms of intelligent data analysis, the platform will transform unstructured reports of radiologists and data from other sources.

Nuance started a cloud analytical platform for radiologists

Thanks to such analysis of mPower can help radiologists to reduce duration of stay of the patient in hospital, tracing and coordinating the recommendations of specialists. Besides, a system is capable to optimize document flow, to monitor changes in clinical recommendations and to announce them to doctors. Algorithms of intelligent data analysis mPower allow to establish defective images and the reason of their identification, optimizing operation of devices and reducing the need for repeated inspections. As the cloud platform is placed in Microsoft Azure, it allows it to protect adequately a confidential information of patients and to minimize the aggregate value of use due to cutting of costs for maintenance.

The vice president and the general manager of Healthcare Diagnostics Nuance Karen Holzberger notes that the cloud platform of mPower Clinical Analytics should transform a data processing system in the field of a radiology and finally improve care of patients.^[1]
