2020: Announcement of the medical monitor
At the beginning of June, 2020 the JVC Kenwood company provided the new monochrome display with a high brightness and high contrast for viewing X-ray - KT- and MRT-pictures.
The MS-S300 display belongs to i3 series, has resolution of 3 megapixels and diagonal of the screen 21.3 inches. According to the solution of the regulator it can be used for mammography and a tomosinteza of a mammary gland the Display has the maximum brightness of 2000 cd/m2 and the calibrated brightness to 1000 cd/m2. Brighter screen considerably improves perception when viewing monochrome images that increases efficiency of diagnostics. At the same time the system of correction of brightness provides stable and homogeneous image illumination.
Brightness of the display is automatically regulated when viewing lists of patients and applications for drawing up reports. Besides, MS-S300 is supplied with blue illumination which reduces load of eyes during reading. The high contrast ratio 1500:1 provides sharper images and allows to interpret images of mammary glands with a bigger accuracy. Dsplya it is also supplied with the QA Medivisor Agent tool providing calibration and standard testing via the simple user interface.
Thanks to the built-in front MS-S300 sensor automatically executes regular calibration according to the DICOM Part 14 standard. The display also supports additional function of independent control of subpixels which allows to manage each subpixel of the LCD display separately. This technology allows MS-S300 to visualize 9-megapixel images, i.e. overtakes modern standards of primary diagnostics at mammography. The new design of MS-S300 reduces the occupied space for 25% in comparison with normal models.[1]
