2023: Launch of FinZashchita service

On August 28, 2023, the MTS ecosystem launched the FinZashchita service for individuals, which allows you to track the actions of credit fraudsters and helps to monitor the safety of user data. On the service website, customers will be able to check for free whether their phone number and other data have entered the fraudsters' databases.

The FinZashchita service will inform in SMS if they try to take a loan or microstore in the subscriber's name, monitors changes in the credit history and sends a notification if someone requests it. It could also signal someone else's attempt to get credit for their username. If a service leaked information about which it became known, FinZashchita will warn about this and tell you what measures to take. In addition, the service will help monitor the quality of the credit history and will notify about overdue debts so that the client can quickly repay them and maintain his credit rating.

You can connect the "FinZashchita" service on the website finadvice.mts.ru/protect at the phone number of any Russian operator. Among the subscription options, you can choose monthly, semi-annual and annual.

Together with the subscription, the user will have access to his personal account: it is created automatically and will be tied to the phone number. The personal account stores events from credit history - delays, requests for credit history, loan applications, errors in credit history and others. Information about data leaks for this service is provided by the project partner, the DLBI (Data Leakage & Breach Intelligence) service, a Russian service for intelligence of vulnerabilities and data leaks, as well as monitoring fraudulent resources on the darknet. Access to data is carried out using a special API to a daily replenished database of data leaks and compromised accounts.

Also in the personal account, the user will receive up-to-date recommendations on how to act in each specific situation, for example, if someone "leaked" data to the network. Here you can also find information about popular schemes that fraudsters use to deceive and important tips - how to behave correctly in a dialogue with a fraudster so as not to become another victim.
