2022: Service Launch

On September 13, 2022, MTS PJSC announced the launch of a remote identification service for individuals for large businesses - ID Scan RIM. With its help, companies can quickly check information about individuals and protect themselves from fraudulent actions of unscrupulous users. In addition, the service will allow ten times to reduce the time for clients to fill out questionnaires on the organization's website.

The solution is aimed at credit organizations, MFIs, brokers, insurance companies, as well as those who work remotely with individuals. According to MTS, this is the first solution on the Russian market that combines seven systems in its circuit for collecting data, recognizing and verifying them.

ID Scan RIM is a modular solution that it is integrated is built into a site or mobile application open source company API and built into any user path. The company working with ID Scan RIM can independently choose any convenient way to identify the client: through, - passport recognition data telecom operator,, UIAS traditional survey, etc. An individual gets a link to a web page and chooses how to fill in passport data. After that, the service verifies and enriches the data and within one minute sends a response to the organization, on the basis of which a decision can be made on further interaction with this user.

There are several ways to check data within a service. The first involves checking a bundle of full names and passport data through the open systems of the Federal Tax Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The second method is verification of a bundle of full names and a telephone number to confirm that the client who performs the service request uses the specified telephone number. At the request of the company, the data received from the client can be enriched with information collected on the basis of open data sources: credit risk analysis based on credit bureau data; information on bankruptcy and executive workflow; indebtedness on tax charges, etc.

ID Scan RIM is the first solution on the Russian market that completely closes the company's need to identify user data and verify it. In a single loop, we have assembled seven internal and external systems. In addition, one of the functionality of the service - identification through passport recognition - is a solution implemented with the assistance of two market representatives: Smart Engines and VisionLabs. And this is a configuration presented only in the MTS service.
