2019: Announcement of service

On August 28, 2019 the MTS company announced creation of the new cloud direction on the basis of the Containerum command, a startup from own accelerator of the operator. The cloud service capable to twice accelerate start of IT solutions and to increase competitiveness of the Russian business will be developed for clients of #CloudMTS provider.

The new division#CloudMTS develops service for acceleration of start of IT solutions

The startup of Containerum has four years' experience of development of the IT solutions connected with container services which provide fast deployment and administration of applications in a cloud. The command successfully underwent acceleration and implementation based on the innovation platform MTS StartUp Hub. After end of a pilot project as which business customer the#CloudMTS provider acted the command was included into division of own development of provider.

Within the new cloud#CloudMTS direction will provide to the companies container services which provide many times more rapid development, deployment and administration of IT solutions in a cloud. The basis will be formed by own development of a startup - the platform under the name Containerum of the same name which the command adapts for work in a cloud of provider.

Creating applications happens in several stages, of which development and start of service in operation are key. At traditional approach services are developed in one technology environment, and are implemented into another. With respect thereto there can be "conflict" between a development environment of IT solutions and the environment of their implementation and use. Existence in one place – a container – all necessary components for creation and applications launch allows not to spend time for adaptation of IT solutions to a new environment. Such approach significantly accelerates development and an output of new services to the market.

As note in MTS, large business from the financial sector, the industry and retail will have an opportunity multiply quicker to perform development and deployment of business applications and external customer services, reducing time-to-market. Technology startups, the financial technical-companies, online aggregators of goods and services will be able to increase many times fault tolerance of the services and quicker to perform scaling of resources. For example, using container technologies, banks will develop and implement much quicker services online of banking and client mobile applications. Large industrial enterprises will be able to reduce costs and to simplify administration of applications of a business intelligence. Online retail will receive the tool allowing to scale quickly resources of the websites depending on the traffic arriving on them.

The new service Containerum Managed Kubernetes will be provided in a format of service. It will allow the companies at least to reduce the costs connected with development and an output of new IT solutions to the market by 40%. The service will allow to use cloud space more economically: on one virtual server it will be possible to place 2-3 times more applications. Container service will provide the multiple growth of fault tolerance of applications in the period of peak loads, will also minimize idle times during updates. Reliable functioning of IT solutions of clients is ensured by automatic monitoring of loading and redistribution of the entering client traffic between servers.
