2024: Launch of the metaverse

In mid-May 2024, MTS announced the launch of its Verse metaverse. According to the press service of the telecom operator, the 3D gaming space involves a new format for user interaction with the products of the MTS digital ecosystem.

We are glad to present the ecosystem on the territory of metaverse, - says Valery Kopytin, head of the youth department of the marketing communications department of MTS. - Many believe that their hype has passed, but we believe that their future is still ahead. In our project, we combined gamification, new experience of user interaction with the brand and its products, and also added films, books and other content from MTS to Verse.

Access to the digital universe is carried out in the browser of a computer or smartphone. At the start of MTS Verse, six locations are offered there:

• lobby or launch pad from where you can move to other locations. There is also a mining terminal that allows the user to generate koins;
• a cinema where you can watch KION Originals films and TV series and subscribe to the service;
• a library where the user can get acquainted with the directory of the Lines service, subscribe and pass a special test to test their knowledge and receive one of the in-game bonuses in the Boom Terminal;
• scene where you can see the performances of MTS Label artists, and in the future virtual concerts, DJ sets, music festivals and other events will be held. Here you can also see the MTS Live poster and buy a ticket for a real concert.
• game location Marathon with an obstacle course, for the passage of which the user receives game currency or Boom in the terminal;
• storage - a virtual bank where you can get acquainted with MTS financial services, manage the balance of your digital wallet and withdraw earned coins for a deposit at 30% per annum.^[1]
