Master-Konnekt

The Mastertel company has infrastructure fiber-optical network "Master-Konnekt". Clients of the company are given an opportunity to use the technology capacity of network.

The network is built on the basis of high-quality optical fiber. "Master-Konnekt" covers all territory of Moscow and near Moscow area. Total length of network is formed over 7 thousand km. The client can purchase or rent a part of network for own needs. Thus it is possible to receive a reliable and qualitative communication channel to data centers or remote offices. Telecom operators use "Master-Konnekt" as a basis for creation of the networks and an output to the market of own services.

For connection to network "jumpers" to the customer's objects are laid. Their construction is completely executed by forces Mastertel, in certain cases at the expense of the most telecommunication provider. At connection of office centers, the owner has a connectivity to the building of any provider, retaining control over activity of providers.

Specific Features:

• Unique scales of a covering, average remoteness of Master-Konnekt network to objects of the customer does not exceed 350 m;
• More than 1000 already connected buildings;
• An opportunity to rent or purchase section of network;
• For owners of office centers connection to network is free;
• The low cost of lease or service (in comparison with laying of own network);
• High reliability of network, full redundancy of trunk sections.
• About 160 operators use Master-Konnekt as the trunk for creation of networks.
• Capacity of fibers in trunks of network "Master-Konnekt"" - 264 fibers.

Connections of construction lengths of cables are executed on the basis of the new universal couplings allowing to make welding of fibers according to the necessary configuration providing input to 16 cables and placed in own telephone wells. In places of intersection of high-capacity trunks underground optical crosses are established. They do possible any to switching between trunks, increasing, thus, quantity of options of lease of fiber. Switching nodes based on the adapted leased premises to which a large number of main cables is brought are created. The last miles from main cables are under construction taking into account a possibility of hit of one point in different trunks. These changes considered current demands of clients: they lift limits on use of "dark" fibers, increase fault tolerance of collected networks and give the chance to collect any route in enough short time.

2017: Access to MSK-IX

Mastertel began to provide in the fall of 2017 to the clients new service – dostupsk MOSCOW TIME-Ixtochka ^[1] to resources of the point of exchange of Internet traffic (Internet eXchange), largest in Russia, ^[2] At the same time the telecom operator undertakes the solution of all organizational issues, providing to the client a full-fledged range of services of access to resources. Receiving ready service from Mastertel, the customer can not care about placements of the equipment and the organization of cross patchings.

The possibility of use of the MSK-IX resources allows to accelerate communications between the Internet companies, providing the neutral Internet eXchange platform for exchange of IP traffic between networks and a global distributed network of DNS servers for support of root domain zones. Thanks to the MSK-IX resources the wide range of tasks can be solved.

2015: Extent of Master-Konnekt exceeded 8 thousand km

On August 31, 2015 the Mastertel company reported - the fiber-optical network "Master-Konnekt" exceeded the extent of 8000 km in 2015. According to the plan of increase in geography of network, the company monthly lays from 40 to 80 km of optical cables.

In the middle of 2015 new routes joined Master-Konnekt network: the optical fiber cable is laid on Novorizhskoye Highway and in the city of Domodedovo of the Moscow region.

In 2015 in partnership with company 3Data backbone switching sites in data center of "M8" on 4th Street on March 8, in data center of "B17" on Butlerov Street 17 are created, is under construction in data center "Ug8" on 3rd Ugreshsky Lane.

These are telecom operators, banks, the large state and commercial organizations. More than 2000 buildings are already connected to Master-Konnekt network. Expansion of geography – the next stage of the strategic plan of the company on increase in its presence in the telecommunication market situated near Moscow", - Vladimir Kukushkin, the associate director on construction of "Mastertel Stroy Project Service" company noted.

2013

In the spring of 2013 Mastertel announced transition to a final phase of reservation of the largest data processing centers of Moscow from the point of view of cable economy. These actions will allow to lift a customer service level to qualitatively new level.

So, two independent cable passages to fiber-optical network "Master-Konnekt" attached the largest commercial DPCs of the capital.

Within implementation of this program, Mastertel became the only operator who provided reservation of data centers in the territory of JSC NICEVT (Varshavskoye Highway, 125), having constructed own alternative cable entry there. In NICEVT there are four large data centers: "Stack "Telecom/M1", I-Teco, Odnoklassniki and "Mail.ru" to which the telecommunication provider provides in lease own network "Master-Konnekt".

Technological solutions distinguish broad capacity of leased circuits with a capacity reserve from Mastertel company and also their high security. Thanks to it reliability of the communication bridge and stable work of network infrastructure of clients of the company is provided.

The Tinkoff — Credit Systems bank which used service of the company and using fiber-optical network "Master-Konnekt" connected completely independent routes the servers in DPC of "M1" and "DataSpace" not only within Moscow, but also in data centers.
