On February 11, 2019 Bitfury Group announced the platform for transfer and processing of medical images based on a blockchain in cooperation with Medical Diagnostic Web (MDW) company.
MDW offers a medical blockchain platform which allows radiologists to communicate and exchange pictures and data of patients. Within the new agreement of Bitfury, MDW and Longenesis company which is engaged in medical databases created the solution for sharing and protection of medical images and also the attached confidential information, such as results of inspections.
