In the middle of May, 2020 the Israeli company Avtipus Patents and Inventions provided a medical mask with the remote control in which it is possible to eat food. According to developers, their solution will help to reduce risk at visit of cafe and restaurants.

The device is activated by normal clicking the lever which opens a cut in a front part of a mask. With ice cream or sauces such trick will not work, but to eat normal firm food through this cut quite perhaps.

The mask will open mechanically manually or automatically when the fork approaches a mask, - the vice president of Avtipus Patents and Inventions Asaf Gitelis explained, showing the device at office of the company near Tel Aviv. - Thanks to this mask you will be able to enjoy food and at the same time to be under protection.

The company stated that it is going to begin production of automatic masks with cuts within the coming months and already submitted the patent. Gitelyis claims that the mask will cost from 3 to 10 shekels ($0.85-2.85) that is a little higher than normal pale blue medical masks which are worn by many Israelis.

In shopping center Juice Bar in Tel Aviv showed to visitors video how the innovation mask works. Opinions of the audience were shared.

I think that the mask in which it is possible to eat is simply necessary presently, - the 32-year-old graduate student Ofir Hameyri of Ofir Hameiri told. However the 29-year-old musician RON Silberstein did not agree with him: "I do not think that in this mask it is possible to eat ice cream, for example - the thawed weight will drip from everywhere. I would not like to put on then this mask".

Though Israel began to be restored to normal life after sharp reduction of cases COVID-19, restaurants and cafe work so far only for carrying out so Israelis will manage to estimate this mask in operation at a distant day.^[1]
