Melt Master3D 550

For the beginning of 2017 the state corporation already locates a prototype of the 3D-printer capable to recreate metal ware and composites. According to the first deputy director general of JSC Nauka i innovatsii Alexey Duba, products which left from under this device will be in demand both in the nuclear industry, and in medicine.

In a subsoil of state corporation the first sample of the printer of new generation — Melt Master3D 550 passes tests. Its main difference from machines of the previous generation — use in work of special powdery structures from which metal and composite products turn out. All printers executing three-dimensional printing still could print only plastic products with different extent of detailing.

"Need of our country for endoprostheses alone which can be made on 3D-printers reaches 100 thousand a year — Alexey Dub said on at the forum NDExpo-2017. — This market is estimated at 8 billion rubles. And it is only one direction of use of the products executed by method of three-dimensional printing". The project of Rosatom means equipment by the Russian software. Powders for domestic printers will also be made in our country. Due to production localization the Russian devices will be 20% cheaper than foreign analogs^[1]
