2019: A response in Russia because of the rejected software

By 96 cars Mercedes-Benz S-Class (types 217 and 222) sold in the Russian Federation in 2019 fault at which coding of the software of the communication module for the system of an electronic call (eCall) can not meet the specification is detected. Also 1022 Mercedes-Benz GLEc crossovers (type 167) sold in the Russian market in 2018-2019 are subject to a response. In the cars which got under a service campaign it is necessary to check correct fastening of decorative pads on a vertical partition of back doors and, if necessary, to finish it.
According to the message of Rosstandart, official dealers of Mercedes-Benz will notify car owners on need to deliver the machine in the next for them the service center for free troubleshooting. Department also informs that owners of a car of these models can independently compare the VIN code of the car with published on the website of Rosstandart by the list.
In 2019 Mercedes-Benz repeatedly recalled cars in Russia. So, in September the producer announced need of repair concerning 4.6 thousand Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Classic vans because of possible faults of the electrical system, interruptions in operation of the engine and emergence of short circuit and fire.[1]
