MiVue 338 video recorder

In August, 2012 the Mio Technology company announced the beginning of sales of the first MiVue video recorder of third generation - MiVue 338.

In comparison with the previous generation of the Mio MiVue 338 video recorders underwent a lot of changes, and first of all it concerns appearance of the device. Innovation became more compact, but at the same time saved the main distinctive features of the MiVue family: big diagonal of the screen, convenient controls and qualitative optics — the lens consisting of 6 glass lenses provides the best svetopropuskaniye, than plastic analogs that positively affects final quality of video. The body of the device is executed in the form of a square parallelepiped with smoothed edges. The lens and the microphone which is behind trellised openings in plastics are in front located. Behind — the screen with diagonal 2 inches and control buttons the device. On lateral faces took place: buttons of inclusion and reset, connectors for the memory card, mini-USB and an AV exit.

Innovation, being younger model in a new line, is able to write rollers in Full HD resolution 720p, the H.264 codec is used. Wide angle of the overview (120 °) and support of the day/night mode (automatic fine tuning depending on illumination conditions) will provide capture of everything that happens on the road, regardless of time of day. The received rollers can be reproduced on any computer or a household player since they are written in one of the most popular containers – AVI. Plus to that, video is perfectly displayed on the built-in bright screen, and if desired it is easy to bring him to any device equipped with an AV input.

Record will not be interrupted after turn of the ignition key — MiVue 338 is equipped with the built-in accumulator and is capable to hold on in the mode of the independent camera that the driver could bypass, for example, around a scene of road accident and imprint important parts, or just photograph a beautiful landscape outside. At the same time the video recorder weighs only 70 grams and differs in modest dimensions.

MiVue 338 have different write modes: in addition to classical (automatic) when the card of memory is consistently filled with rollers and, at memory contention, cyclic rewriting begins, are also present "manual" — after clicking of the button the roller is marked as nonerasable, and it will be saved on the card anyway — and "on operation of the shock sensor". The video recorder is equipped with the G-Shock sensor which reacts to any external influences. If the car is subject to a serious shake-up or blow, the current video will be saved on the memory card, and the video recorder will not conduct rewriting of this file. Then, using software of Mio MiVue manager, it will be possible to analyze the nature of collision by means of wave charts which are under construction according to indications of the G-Shock sensor.

Not only video — MiVue 338 can also be used as the compact camera. Take close up number of the car of the violator or the person of especially captious traffic police officer — is not present problems!
