2024: Representation of programmable logic controller based on Amur MIK32
Micron April 18, 2024 presented a prototype programmable logic controller (PLC) based on Russian RISC-V a microcontroller. MIK32 Amur PLC is designed for industrial automation systems,,, mechanical engineering fuel and energy infrastructures lighting engineering, security systems, water supply systems and others, where uninterrupted operation is required.
The prototype Micron PLC is built on the basis of our Amur microcontroller to automate industrial processes and control technological facilities, including the energy, oil and gas, industrial sector and critical infrastructure facilities. We are ready for joint development with a wide range of developers of automation systems, "said Gulnara Khasyanova, General Director of Micron JSC. |
PLC parameters:
- Number of discrete inputs: 10
- Discrete input type: dry contact (ground fault)
- Number of analog inputs: 2 (0-10 V)
- Number of discrete outputs: 8
- Type of discrete output: relay (220V 5A)
- Supply voltage: 12-24 V DC
- Interfaces: external (USB or RS485), expansion bus (RS485)
- RAM: 16KB
- Program memory: EEPROM - 8 KB, FLASH - 2 MB
The development reduces dependence on imported components and creates the opportunity to provide critical infrastructure facilities with a Russian protected solution in a short time: manufacturing, urban water supply, oil and gas pumping, power, transport infrastructure, pipeline monitoring.
