2024: Chip presentation with read range up to 14m

Micron on September 23, 2024 presented a domestic UHF chip for radio frequency identification (RFID) tags intended for labeling. The Russian UHF chip with a reading range of up to 14 meters is ready for mass production.

The chip M25v4 developed by Micron, operates at a frequency of 867 MHz, has a user memory of 64 bits, an EPC memory (electronic product code) of 192 bits, sufficient to record a unique identifier or other characteristics of the marked object. As part of the label, it is read at a distance of up to 14 meters on various surfaces with stable parameters, including under external impact, and meets the highest safety requirements of the identification market.

The functionality of the microchip allows it to be used to solve a wide range of problems of digitalization of production and business processes, end-to-end analytics and applied technological solutions.

100% domestic development will fully localize the production of RFID tags on the territory of the Russian Federation to ensure technological sovereignty. countries The chip is ready for mass production and will successfully replace analogues of foreign manufacturers. The production of tags with this chip is scheduled for 2025, - said Anatoly Reznik, director of applied products of the RCH-JSC identifications Micron.
