Bot Framework is a development environment open source. It is focused on creating applications of automatic interaction with users through text messages, the SMS, Skype, Slack, the Office 365 mail and other services.
By means of Bot Framework developers can create the bots operating on certain templates, the studying bots. At emergence of problems with analysis of a request the program, the bot will warn about a problem and will suggest to wait for the living operator who will receive record of a preliminary conversation.
2016: Bot Framework upgrade
On December 14, 2016 the Microsoft company announced upgrade of infrastructure of Microsoft Bot Framework.
Tools for simplification of process of creation of bots, including cognitive service Microsoft QnA Maker, updating for Intellectual service of the analysis of language and tools for creation of cards of a multimedia content (rich media card) are added to it. Now it is possible to add video, the animated GIF files and audioclips to a bot cards to bots of Skype.
