On September 23, 2019 the Microsoft company announced the Dynamics solution of 365 Commerce which allows retailers to manage the business on the Internet. The Dynamics 365 Connected Store service which by means of artificial intelligence can study habits of buyers and give to sellers useful tips on improvement of sales is also provided.
In Dynamics 365 Connected Store the data arriving from the systems of computer vision, video and IoT-sensors are aggregated and analyzed. Thanks to it it is possible to trace visitors of shops and to send them recommendations on the basis of what they buy and look for.
The events recorded in Connected Store will allow to send notifications to web applications or by e-mail for the staff of shop with forecasts for increase in sales and efficiency of shop.
Besides, Dynamics 365 Connected Store can notify on the shortage of workers at the checkout when build long queues, to reveal problems with the equipment outlets and to define long-term trends for managing shops
Through Dynamics 365 Commerce retail sellers will create the detailed personalized Internet pages about the goods.
Service is concentrated on advertizing and also helps with supply chain management. He allows sellers to communicate with buyers directly as he contains an option of assessment of the purchased goods and responses of buyers. According to the corporate vice president of Microsoft Alice Taylor, on creation of Dynamics 365 Commerce about one and a half years left.
Microsoft also announced Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management service which connects signals from sensors of Internet of Things with data of business transactions to predict need of maintenance or replacement of the equipment.[1]
