Based on the previous similar research conducted in January of this year, both versions enjoyed almost identical popularity: 44% of respondents used SharePoint 2010 and 43 of % — SharePoint 2007. At the same time in August, 2010 the situation cardinally differed from present: only 8% of respondents used SharePoint 2010 and 81 of % — SharePoint 2007. All this demonstrates that the release of SharePoint of 2010 continues to gain quickly popularity and to force out the old version.
• Applications for business process management and workflow are in the greatest demand. 67% otproshenny indicated that they use or are going to use applications of SharePoint for business process management (BPM).
