2018: Start in production
On December 27, 2018 the Mikron company announced start in production of the Russian microcontroller for protection of transmitted data for devices of Internet of Things with support of domestic standards of enciphering of GOST. According to the company, the microcontroller works with all standards of communication and is intended for ensuring safe connection and data exchange of devices of critical infrastructure of Internet of Things (IoT – Internet of Things).
For December, 2018 application of domestic microelectronics can guarantee lack of not declared opportunities which bear risks of data transmission by the third-party user, an equipment output out of operation or accomplishment of unauthorized commands. Yury Halif, project director of PJSC Mikron |
The microcontroller is developed for the protected data exchange of IoT-devices, including for use in modules and Smart solutions in the field of industrial Internet of Things, on objects of power generation, the power supply network, housing and public utilities, transport infrastructure, communication, agriculture and the system of the smart city.
At the heart of the microcontroller the domestic chip of the first level MIK51SC72D of Micron supporting the Russian algorithms enciphering GOST P 34.10-2001 and GOST 28147-89 that allows to use development at the enterprises and objects of critical infrastructure where the high level of security and protection against unauthorized influence is required is used.
