Minikom-DECT-DMC - the system of microcellular communication is intended for the organization of communication on production.

The system of microcellular communication "Minikom-DECT-DMC" - a part of office automatic telephone exchange. With its help mobile communication for the subscribers is free.


The microcellular Minikom-DECT-DMC system is focused on ensuring information exchange, reduction of non-productive costs of time.

The equipment of subscriber access of the DECT standard (The basic Minikom-DECT-DWLL-200 radio unit) and the equipment of a microcellular radio communication of the DECT standard on the scheme given below is shared.

Scheme of interaction of a system

The Minikom-DECT-DMC system creates network of radio telephone communication, covering the enterprise territory. This network represents several radio zones blocking each other. Radio zones are formed by the base stations intended for establishment of connections with wireless telephone sets.

The Minikom-DECT-DMC system automatically determines a zone of finding of the subscriber and sends it a city or internal call. During the conversation, when moving the subscriber across the territory, a system controls necessary compounds (handoff function).

At creation of a distributed network of communication based on "Minikom-DECT-DMC" the possibility of mobility of the DECT subscribers in all territory of deployment of network ("roaming" and "handoff" function) appears.


In composition of microcellular communication of "Minikom-DECT-DMC":

  • basic hardware: the controller of base stations (CBS) Minik DMC-CS, the base stations (BS) Minik DMC-BS, antenna feeder devices, a DECT repeaters "Minik - Repeater", thermocabinets (TSh) "Minik DMC-TSh-48", the attendant workstation (AW).

  • subscriber equipment: mobile voice radios, terminal subscriber radio units (TSRU) "Miniky DT-20", subscriber antennas.

Basic hardware

  • Controller of Base Stations (CBS)

The controller of base stations "Miniky DMC-CS-1U" is intended for system management of microcellular communication. Structurally it represents a payment which is established in standard 19" the body 1 unit high or is placed vertically in 19" to the cartridge, height in this case is 4 unit. KBS is connected to UPATS under protocols E-DSS1, 2VSK (R1.5), v 5.2.

On a digital transport network KBS can be taken out from the station on considerable distance. At the KBS enterprise it is capable to perform functions of office automatic telephone exchange. There is a possibility of creation of the multizone systems a join path of several KBS in a single network.

  • Base Station (BS)

BS provides creation of radio zones and information exchange with mobile tubes. Base stations Minik DMC-BS are connected to the controller by the 4-paired cable via E1 interface. Removal of BS from the controller - up to 500 m. For carrying out of base stations on long distances digital transport networks or physical lines are used. For installation in the open air the base station is placed in a special thermocabinet "Minik by DMC-TSh-48" which provides operation in the temperature range from -50 °C to +40 °C.

Each base station allows to conduct up to 12 double talks, than provides the high density of subscribers in an area of coverage of one base station. Application of different types of antennas optimizes the number of base stations necessary for sure communication in all territory of the enterprise.

The operating experience of the unrolled systems of a microcellular radio communication when in one space sector several base stations work, showed: ensuring reliable synchronization of BS - the major condition on which high-quality work of all system in many respects depends. Minikom-DECT developers paid to this question special attention. Synchronization is performed by two methods. The base station on specially selected pair can "take" synchronization either from the DECT controller, or from other "leading" base station.

  • Attendant Workstation (AW)

RMO serves for ensuring work of the operator on configuring, management and diagnostics of a system. There is a possibility of remote control a system through IP network using the converter of RS-232 interface with the TCP/IP protocol or the Dial-Up-modem.

The operator can:

  • make monitoring of the basic and subscriber hardware;

  • register (to write out) subscribers in a system;

  • to automatically carry out a survey of devices in a system;

  • receive signals of emergency situations in a system;

  • make upgrade of software of a system.


Software registers, saves, sorts the following information:

  • date and time of a conversation;

  • conversation time;

  • the entering, outgoing calls;

  • load of the base station;

  • load of all system in general;

  • status of each base station.

The system of microcellular communication "Minikom-DECT-DMC" the GAP profile allowing to use the equipment of different producers keeps. Therefore in the Minikom-DECT-DMC system use of phones of different trademarks is possible.
