2021: Setting the Panasonic Head-Up Display
On May 28, 2021, it became known that, HUD (Head-Up Display) developed by automobile the Japanese the corporation's division Panasonic , the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV crossover of the corporation, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation whose deliveries to the markets, were installed and USA Canada Puerto Rico started in April 2021.
The Head-Up display allows you to broadcast on the windshield the most different: the information speed of the car, data navigator hints of the MI-PILOT ASSIST driver assistance system, developed by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation for use on single-lane high-speed highways, and much more. It is important that all the data are displayed immediately in front of the person in the direction of his gaze, which significantly reduces the load on the eyes and allows you to maintain focus on the road, without translating the look to foreign objects. Thus, the convenience of driving increases.
When creating this Head-Up display, optical technologies were used, originally developed by Panasonic for digital cameras. A high-precision mirror of a special shape and a module for generating images of increased brightness allow you to project large and sharp images with minimal distortion on the windshield (visibility: 7 degrees × 3 degrees). The clarity of the picture is preserved even in difficult conditions - for example, when direct sunlight falls on the glass, or if the driver put on sunglasses. At the same time, the size of the Head-Updevice itself remains very compact, which is extremely important in the limited space of the car.
