2020: Mix start the Market - a marketplace for suppliers of restaurants

On September 24, 2020 it became known of emergence in Russia of a marketplace for suppliers of restaurants — "To Mix the Market". It was started by service for automation of purchases of Mixcart restaurants.

"Mix the Market" allows public caterings to compare offers from suppliers online, to order according to relevant directories, the prices and a commodity remaining balance and to receive electronic waybills in the accounting system with end of the order.

Marketplace gives to restaurants the chance of the postponed payment of the order till 7 days. Document flow and payments are registered via the MixCart system. Among the suppliers connected to new service the network "Vkusvill", "Fud City" and Moskovsky holding appear.

Also within the project suppliers and restaurants can exchange electronic data on orders and documents in real time that an institution saw the relevant prices and data on the orders. "Mix the Market", according to authors of the project, provides the guaranteed payment of each delivery: the supplier receives money for the order in time and avoids receivables.

The similar platform can suit small networks and single restaurateurs, Lenar Kutlin developing network of Gagawa restaurants reported Kommersant. Even a small institution works at least with ten suppliers, he added. To the entrepreneurs who are not interested in accumulation of supply rates work through one marketplace can be convenient.

Maintenance of stable product quality in purchase — always a big problem for restaurateurs, the founder of the StrEat project Maxim Popov notes. According to him, the b2b-marketplace will allow the companies of a public catering to avoid corruption.
